Branding for E-Town Noodles, a Vietnamese restaurant in Elizabethtown, PA.

I had to establish a brand identity for E-Town Noodles, a Vietnamese restaurant that’s located in a small town with mostly pizza and burger joints.

The art direction and concept of the brand had to appealed to the community but also display a strong presence of the Vietnamese culture & cuisine. My client decided on the logo that best represented the restaurant. It included colors of the Vietnam flag paired with an Asian inspired font. To give it more character, flare, and familiarity I replaced the ‘O’ in ETOWN with a bowl of noodles and chopsticks. It also symbolized that there’s new restaurant in town and that it’s there to stay.

I used the same theme, typography, and color scheme throughout my designs to stay consistent with the brand in addition to some urban elements. I designed menus, to-go menus, packaging, business cards, digital posters, and apparel for staff.

As for multimedia, I designed a website that directs customers and potential customers to additional information on Vietnamese cuisine and to the restaurant’s menu. To keep the community connected, engaged, and aware I created and managed multiple social media platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, Yelp, and TripAdvisor. The content mostly consisted of menu item images that appealed to hungry customers.
